Face of Australia Look Book – Morning After

Welcome to our first Look Book post! In collaboration with Kirsty Dolores (Makeup Artist) and Jacqueline Clare Morris (Photographer), the Face of Australia Look Book showcases the versatility of our array of products and show you how to make the hottest trends work for you!

Theme 1: Morning After with bold lips

Tis the season to be jolly! And you know what that means… party, party, party! This is the perfect party look for when you need to attend all those Christmas functions, catch up drinks, New Year’s Eve parties and just any party at all!

Face:

L to R: Lasting Looks Foundation ($11.95); Pressed Bronzer ($11.95); Mineral Therapy Blush Sheer Mauve ($12.95)

1. Apply foundation evenly, Lasting Looks foundation provides a full, yet natural coverage

2. Contour cheekbones with the Pressed Bronzer. You can also dust this lightly over your entire face for a subtle, summertime glow

3. Add a pop of colour by applying blush onto the apples of your cheeks. (Not too much though, since we are working with such a dramatic eye and lip we want to keep everything else quite muted.)

Eyes:

L to R: Colour Max Eyeshadow Palette Mercury Rising ($10.95); Eye Primer Matte ($7.95); Liquid Eyeliner Black ($8.95); Impact-Full Volumising Mascara Blackest Black ($11.95)

1. Prep your eyes by taking a small amount of Eye Primer with your fingertip and gently pat onto your entire eyelid and right up to the brow bone

2. Apply Colour A (light shimmer grey) from upper lashline to the brow bone.

3. Apply Colour D (matte black) all over eyelid, extending out to the side to create a wing. Use the same colour under the lower lashline.

4. Blend Colour B (silver blue shimmer) into the crease – this will add dimension to a black smokey eye and soften the harsh edges of the black eyeshadow.

5. Take Colour A again and highlight the inner corner of your eye. This will make them appear bigger!

6. To finish the eyes, line them with black liquid eyeliner and apply a 1-2 coats of mascara to your lashes
