I love to bake delicious desserts, practice yoga and meditation, and I live for travelling to new and exciting places!

1. What is your favourite make up trend at the moment?
My favourite makeup trend for 2015 would be the fresh-faced, minimalistic look that I am seeing on the catwalks all over the world! I love luminous, glowing skin that looks healthy and plump and allows the natural beauty to shine through. I love to create this look by using a sheer, dewy foundation and adding some highlighter to allow the light to reflect off of my face. I choose to use more of a sheer coverage for an everyday look as I don’t like to use anything that’s too heavy on my skin and it is much easier to remove at the end of the day. I love to add a golden hue to the inner corners of the eyes and a lot of mascara to make them pop. For more of an evening look, I love to add my favourite Lip Quench Lipstick in Pure Plum from Face of Australia Cosmetics as I feel that this is the best colour to make my blue eyes stand out. This lipstick also contains SPF30 so my lips are always protected from the sun’s harmful rays!

 2. What is your foolproof, never fail make up look?
The combination of gold and coffee colours to create a smoky eye look is definitely a classic and never fails me! I like to use the Colour Max Eyeshadow Palette in Gold Mine from Face of Australia which contains four different colours and a step-by-step guide which makes creating a smoky eye even easier. I like to use the gold, shimmery shade all over the eyelid and then creating an elongated look by adding the matte, coffee colour to the outer lids!

3. What product couldn’t you live without?
I believe that every girl has one makeup product that she can’t live without and mine is definitely a volumising mascara, it really does carry the whole makeup look. It’s so important to find a brush that evenly separates and coats the lashes, that way it doesn’t create a clumpy look that becomes almost impossible to fix without having to remove it!

4. What is your top beauty secret?
My top beauty secret is drinking at least two litres of water every day! Water is essential for cleansing, hydrating and plumping the skin and it allows for the toxins to be flushed out of your pores, creating the healthy glow that everyone is after. It is so important for me to start from the basics and look after my skin, that way my foundation and other beauty products look and feel so much nicer on my face.

5. What’s next on your beauty wish list?
The High Definition Brow Kit from Face of Australia Cosmetics and winner of the Women’s Health Beauty Hall of Fame award is definitely next on my beauty wish list! This eyebrow tool makes shading and defining the brows and creating more of a polished look so quick and easy!

6. What is your biggest make up faux pas?
The biggest make up faux pas would be failing to evenly apply foundation! This is often as a result of using the wrong brush to apply the foundation or forgetting to use a primer which allows for a smooth, velvety, longer lasting application.

7. What is the beauty look that you wouldn’t be caught dead in?
Bleached, tattooed or over-waxed eyebrows! Brows are such an important feature and they really do shape the face so I could never risk using harmful products to permanently change the colour or shape of them. I think it’s so important to find an experienced brow artist who knows how to shape your eyebrows in order to flatter the rest of your facial features.

8. Who is your favourite past Miss Universe Australia winner?
My favourite past Miss Universe Australia winner and international title holder of Miss Universe 2004 is Jennifer Hawkins. I’m so inspired by her success and how much she has achieved since her reigning year and I would love to have the chance to follow in her footsteps!

9. Who is your favourite Aussie designer?
My favourite local South Australian evening gown designer is Paolo Sebastian! He creates unique, handmade garments that are being worn by Australia’s favourite celebrities and even celebrities all over the world. I would love to collaborate with him one day!

10. What is the main thing that you want to get out of this competition?
Apart from making some beautiful, inspiring and hopefully life-long friends throughout the week leading up to the crowning ceremony, I really hope to experience some personal growth throughout this process. There are times where I will be forced to step out of my comfort zone and to find inner strength, and I think that this will be a great way to reflect on my personal qualities and skills.

11. Tell us something that not many people know about you!
I’m a very spiritual person and I find a lot of happiness in practicing meditation. I meditate every morning and every night in order to set a positive tone for the rest of the day so that I can achieve wonderful things!
