1. What is your favourite make up trend at the moment?
I’ve been a fan of the soft look for as long as I can remember. Glowing skin is always in fashion. Lately though, I would have to say contouring would be my favourite trend of the moment. I’ve noticed many people contouring their faces very well. I have actually started using the Face of Australia Lumi-tint Illuminating Sticks as they provide an easy way to contour and highlight the face which really makes the eyes and cheekbones pop.

2. What is your foolproof, never fail make up look?
My foolproof look on me is a nude lip with a brown smoky eye. I have been doing this for years and I’ve become so used to doing this look on myself I can achieve it in less than 10 minutes! So I know if I’m ever in a rush I’ll know I have this look to rely on!

3. What product couldn’t you live without?
Mascara! Nothing beats long beautiful lashes.

4. What is your top beauty secret?
Looking after your skin. You can’t achieve flawless makeup without healthy skin. I’ve been using the Elucent Skin Care whitening range which will give my skin the glow it needs before I hit the stage. Not only is it important to have a good skin care regime but your diet is extremely important too. If you’re not healthy on the inside it will show on the outside. I drink a lot of water and also drink aloe vera. Water for hydration and aloe vera to detoxify the body and clear my skin.

5. What’s next on your beauty wish list?
This may be an odd one! Haha, but a lip enhancer. It’s a little tube you suck on and you magically come out with beautiful plump lips. Don’t worry it’s not like the Kylie Jenner one where the rumour is you enhance your lips by sucking on a shot glass.

6. What is your biggest make up faux pas?
As a blonde I know I can’t go too dark on my eyes or I’ll look like a panda. Making your eyes too dark is a cringe worthy moment for me!

7. What is the beauty look that you wouldn’t be caught dead in?
I love trying new things, there’s nothing I wouldn’t necessarily be caught dead in. But one thing I haven’t tried is a really dark lip. I’m really not sure if I could pull that look off. Haha!

8. Who is your favourite past Miss Universe Australia winner?
I’m biased when I say this, but Tegan Martin! As a 16 year old I lived with Tegan in a model house in Paris. Tegan looked after me as if she was my mum. Haha! If I had to exclude Tegan I would have to pick Renae Ayris. She is probably the most stunning woman I have seen in a long time and she appears to have a kind heart.

9. Who is your favourite Aussie designer?
Dion Lee and Rebecca Vallance. I struggle to pick between the two. Both exude elegant glamour. They suit my fashion sense.

10. What is the main thing that you want to get out of this competition?
The great thing is that this competition has so much to offer. I’ve gained a lot of self-confidence from this experience, so I would encourage other young women to give this experience a go next year. This competition not only helps with my charity, The Butterfly Foundation, it can also help with my health and fitness profession. I’m a personal trainer and Pilates instructor and it’s my dream to create my own e-books for exercise and diet plans that will be popular worldwide and help to positively change the lives of young women. I’m hoping to gain more recognition as not only a model but as a role model for health and fitness and in doing so, help to reduce the obesity rate we’re facing today.

11. Tell us something that not many people know about you!
Everyone who knows me knows that I believe in a positive attitude and that you should never give up! But no one knows why this is. I was born with Talipes. This is a deformity of the foot and ankle. I spent the first 12 months of my life with my right foot in a cast and I’ve had three corrective surgeries to help me walk. I was told by the surgeon that I would never be able to wear any shoes other than joggers. I was determined to wear heels as my dream was to be a model. I worked hard and now you’ll never see me without my heels. I own about 30 pairs. So never ever give up on your dreams!
